The Trinity Continuum is a vast timeline of adventure, speckled with dramatic points across the past, present, and future, where heroes - or villains - arise. While each setting supplement will explore part of the Trinity Continuum timeline, these points in time aren't dots in a straight line - this isn't a long-form metaplot to be simply read aloud. Instead, they're points of quantum probabilities. Anything can happen, so it's up to you and your cast to make it happen!

2020 Year End Update

Hello Continuum Community,
It's not quite the end of the month, but it's close enough for horseshoes and status updates. In a parallel universe, with a slightly altered timeline or slightly shifted reality, we'd be visiting friends and family over these year-end holidays and breaks. I'm doing my best to manage through these final days of 2020, looking forward to a point in the future when I can roll dice in person with my friends and hug my family. I hope that you're all able to keep safe, and I hope that 2021 is a better year for all of us!
Really missing people as we work through the holidays! Just building up extra love for everyone in 2021!
This year has obviously been full of unexpected challenges and difficult times. I know the Onyx Path team and writers were hit hard by the chaotic and shifting nature of the year, and plans and projects had to be shuffled around as situations and solutions were figured out. Projects that were expected to be completed or nearing completion were sometimes delayed, sometimes rescheduled, but never abandoned. I'm hoping 2021 is a much more manageable time, and looking forward to the results of the hard work of the Onyx Path team in keeping the machine running as best they could during this weird year.

ONYX PATH ON KICKSTARTER IN 2020
To say this year was challenging would be an understatement. Despite difficult, uncertainty, and demanding situations, the Onyx Path team continued to work on the great projects that have made us fans. It wasn't easy - schedules shifted, delays managed, and difficulties dealt with - but here we are at the end of 2020 and, despite the chaos, there are some victories to show!
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll continue to be the case in 2021.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.
Looking at 2020, Onyx Path had 7 Kickstarter campaigns funded, with one more currently on the go!
And, though the campaign still has a day to go, the recent DeadMan's Rust mega-adventure and setting supplement for ScarredLands 5th Edition has funded, which means it will get added to the list soon!

Hello Continuum Community,
I'm sneaking in a month end update while many of you are off eating big meals and preparing to nap, or however you celebrate this day we call "Thursday."
Actually, we call it Canadian Thursday.
No huge update this month. We've still got our last two rewards working their way through the system. We do have some progress, though! Meridian, one of the Aeon novellas, has moved from First Draft into Redlines stage, where the developers have shared their feedback and the author is working on the revisions. Hooray! I love it when stuff is moving forward on the progress track!

A new mega-adventure for the Scarred Lands setting, Dead Man’s Rust contains:
A complete campaign taking characters from level 1 to 10
Detailed write-ups of four major locations in central Ghelspad: the Broadreach Horizon, The Gleaming Valley, the Hornsaw Forest, and the necromancer’s stronghold of Glivid-Autel.

So many moving pieces to put this massive Trinity Continuum puzzle together, but now we've got all of the edge pieces in place and it's time to start filling in the middle. As a Hero, a Scion becomes a figure of myth and story, an exemplar of some virtue of their chosen society or the culture they’re born into. Even before their Visitation, the children of the Gods are a breed apart. But some want more than this lesser form of immortality, forever in the shadow of their parents. The golden ichor within the Scion’s heart sears and cooks them, ever burning away any human frailties of the Scion and driving them toward more audacious Deeds. They seek to become truly transformational figures, leaving The World forever different in their wake. At the fifth dot of Legend, it all reaches a tipping point, where the Scion is formed more of divine ichor than mortal flesh —more immortal than mortal, a true Demigod. They have declared to The World that they will not be pawns of Fate, but players in their own right. They will succeed in becoming a God, or they will die with their failure.
Everything up to this point was your prologue. Now it’s time to live your myth.
Scion: Demigod continues the path set down by Scion: Origin and Scion: Hero, expanding Scion Second Edition’s power level and charting the next level of power tiers for the Scions of the Gods. Players will take their characters through a tightly designed yet flexible story arc that ends in apotheosis or death – either way, the character will no longer be mortal after this book. Your characters don’t have to follow every Milestone with their Deeds — but they cannot run from their destiny once they’ve chosen to embrace it.
