Hello Continuum Community,
Final 3 hours of the Trinity Continuum campaign! The last few days have been remarkable. I'll have a few updates to share this morning, including a breakdown of what to expect once the campaign ends (timelines, etc.) and one final chapter in our Trinity Continuum: Æon preview.
But, before we get to any of that, we've had a lot of new backers, so let's go over the basics one last time.
CHECKLIST
1. REWARD TIER, ADD-ONs, PLEDGE TOTAL
Please ensure you've selected the Reward Tier that best represents your desired rewards for this project. An update breaking down all of the Reward Tier decisions is HERE <link>, summarized by this chart:

Once you're sure you've selected the correct Reward Tier, double-check to see if there are any rewards that you want to include via ADD-ON, as described in the update HERE <link>.
Your PLEDGE TOTAL is the sum of your REWARD TIER + SHIPPING + ADD-ONs.
Shipping is calculated automatically by Kickstarter, based on your location. Add On rewards will be selected in the post-campaign pledge manager sent out once payment processing is complete (this will be detailed in Next Steps later this morning).
SO: Ensure that you've selected the Reward Tier you want, and included funding for any Add Ons you wish to include. AND - make sure that you are comfortable with the Pledge Total amount, in terms of it covering everything you want and its' affordability.
2. PAYMENT AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Finally, ensure that the payment and contact information in your kickstarter account is up to date and correct. Making sure your e-mail is entered correctly and your credit card isn't expired will speed up the next step process. (I have learned from experience!)
STRETCH GOALS
Three types of Additional Stretch Goal rewards are included at various Reward Tiers (see Reward Tiers, above, and double-check what you are receiving). Here's what we've built via Stretch Goal Achievements so far:

At $190,000 in funding - Alien Encounter 1: Invasion 1E PDF and Alien Encounter 2: Deception 1E PDF will be added to the Trinity 1e digital bundle. [1E BUNDLE]
Finally, if we manage to achieve 400% of our funding target, Onyx Path will work out a bonus for the creative teams to celebrate!

FINAL DAYS: STRETCH GOALS

Hello Continuum Community,
We've officially entered the 40 hour countdown on this kickstarter campaign. It's been a tremendous success so far, and there are still almost two exciting days to go!
We've had, and will have, a lot of new backers join in during these last few days. I want to take a moment to highlight some key Update posts that new backers may want to check out (and existing backers may want to read as a refresher!).
Feb 27 Update - Manuscript Preview Part 9 contains links to all chapters released so far. You will find the complete manuscript for the Trinity Continuum Core rules bundled into a single file, and five updates for Trinity Continuum: Æon setting, each containing 2 chapters. With one further chapter coming on Thursday prior to the end of the campaign, these are the complete manuscripts for both books being created as a result of this kickstarter project. They should be considered... 93% complete?... with a few rough edges to sand down, and some fragments that survived multiple drafts and need to be cleaned up. But, by-and-large, they're a pretty good indication of the Storypath System and the universe of the Trinity Continuum and will let you know that Onyx Path has already put in a lot of hard work on this project.
Feb 25 Update-FINAL DAYS: REWARD TIERS is your best starting point for figuring out which Backer Reward Level to choose to help support this project.
Feb 26 Update - Final Days: Add-Ons is the important companion piece to the Reward Tiers topic.
Choosing the correct Reward Tier for your desired rewards, and then filling in any "gaps" with add-ons, ensures that you'll be claiming all of your desired rewards as a thank you for supporting this project and bringing this world to life.
Remember, your TOTAL PLEDGE AMOUNT is equal to your REWARD TIER + SHIPPING + ADD ONS. And we will confirm your Add On selection with our post-campaign pledge manager, Backerkit, a few weeks after the campaign ends.
On March 1st, I'll be posting one further "Final Day" update, covering What Happens Next and outlining what to expect once the campaign ends. (I'll also be posting the Setting Secrets chapter for Trinity Continuum: Æon, so stay tuned...)
But until then, we're going to hopefully be racing through our final Stretch Goals of the campaign!
STRETCH GOALS
As the campaign progresses and more and more backers join in, we're able to add "stretch goals" which are additional rewards that are included in certain Reward Tiers as extra content, and a thank you for your support.
In keeping with our trinity theme, there are three flavors of stretch goal, which will be added in rotation and built on what has come before.
[BONUS REWARDS] Any stretch goal rewards achieved as part of this stream will be automatically added to all Reward Tiers that include [BONUS REWARDS] Stretch Goal Additions.
[ÆON ÆXPANSION] Achieving these stretch goal targets will add new sections to the Æon Æxpansion PDF supplement for the Trinity Continuum: Æon setting. Only Reward Tiers receiving the Æon Æxpansion PDF supplement will receive this additional content as part of their rewards.
[1E BUNDLE] Achieving these stretch goal targets will add additional titles to the Trinity 1e digital bundle, and received by any backers who have chosen the FIRST EDITION FAN or any of the "+ ALL STRETCH GOALS" Reward Tiers or selected this as an Add On reward.

At $177,000 in funding - A Section on Psiads (characters with psi powers who are not artificially created, and tend to be less powerful but more flexible than traditional psions) will be added to the Æon Æxpansion PDF supplement. [ÆON ÆXPANSION]
That's a lot of Stretch Goals, and not a lot of time.
I know these numbers may seem daunting, but they wouldn't be STRETCH goals if we didn't have to really STRETCH to reach them!
ACHIEVING STRETCH GOALS
The key to crowdfunding is to have as many backers as possible contributing to help fund the project. The pledge of each additional backer reduces the per backer share of the costs of the project and allows for the funding of further stretch goals.

That is to say, if there are 100 backers pledging toward a project that costs $1,000 to create, each of the 100 backers must cover a $10 cost. Imagine that each backer therefore pledges $10 to make this happen - the project is funded and can be made!
But, if there are 200 backers in this scenario, each backer now only needs to cover $5 of the total cost. Now, the creators can use the extra funds from those $10 pledge to expand the project, or create additional rewards or other offerings.
(Keep in mind that, as backer numbers increase, some of these additional funds will be used to cover growing operational costs such as shipping and warehousing, as well as manufacturing more of the project, which will also increase proportionally. So it's not as straightforward as "double the number of backers" = "double the funds available" but more like "more backers" = "some more funds available".)
As we gain backers, we re-invest any available portion back into the project and community and add additional content and further rewards as a thank-you for your supporting pledge. So, the best way to get the most out of your pledge is to invite more backers to join!
And every backer who joins in as we approach the end is not only able to enjoy the additional rewards already added by the early fans and backers, but also help reward those early backers by expanding everyone's stretch goal rewards!
So, as every update concludes: let's keep the enthusiasm rolling! Keep spreading the word and letting others know about this project. They've got less than two days to jump in and share the EIGHTEEN (soon to be NINETEEN) Stretch Goals we've already achieved!
